THE MARKET
Green Bonds are financial instruments that finance green projects and provide investors with regular or fixed income payments. Green Bonds have become an important tool to address the impacts of climate change and related challenges. In 2021 the Green Bond Market saw over $517 billion of new green bond issuances. Bloomberg reports that this market will expand to over $1.5 trillion in 2022. This growing trend shows the worldwide interest and appetite for green bond projects.
